The reason Jesus was born, instead of coming down from Heaven as a full grown man, was so his Father, who enjoyed watching him grow from birth to manhood, could, like human fathers, experience the same loss and sorrow; thus making God’s gift to us - the death of His own precious son – even more tangible and real.
