A New Baby
Volume Up...
Congratulations!
Everyone Loves a Baby...

Single or married, young or old, we all love babies.

There is something about a baby that is hard to resist. Maybe, it's because of their funny expressions or innocent smiles. One thing, though, is certain. We all start out the same way—you guessed it, as babies.

I wonder why God made it this way? After we are conceived and go through about nine months of growth, we are born and arrive as little people who need everything done for us. If you think about it, the whole process is amazing.

While we are on this subject, did you every wonder why you were born? King Solomon, considered by many the wisest man that ever lived, gave us that answer. He said, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
It would be grand if we could all keep God's Commandments. He would be happy, and so would we. But (wouldn't you know it, there was a "but!"), there is a problem. The problem is we can't. King Solomon explained why...
"For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." (Ecclesiastes 7:20) In other words, we are sinners.
Here is why...
When we were born, we were in the image of those born before us (our parents), and our parents were born in the image of their parents (our grandparents). Even though Adam was created in the very image of God, he and Eve fell because of sin.
Here is the problem...
Their fallen sinful nature got passed down to you and me. The tragic truth is that we were all born in sin. We are all sinners, by birth. And, unless we are born again, we will never accomplish God's original purpose for being born in the first place. Our first birth makes us members of the family of man, and those that have a second birth are members of the family of God.
Has anyone ever told you, dear Friend, that Heaven is sure to those who possess a second birth—a spiritual birth? Jesus affirmed this truth when He said, "Ye must be born again." (John 3:1-7)
Please consider the following...
You are a sinner...
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
"There is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10, 23)
There is an Eternal payment for your sin...
"For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23)
The Bible calls this the "second death" ...death in Hell. If you are not saved, there are two "deaths" to contend with, in your future. (Hebrews 9:27)
"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20: 14 and 15)
God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for your sins...
"...While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
To be sure of Heaven, receive Christ as your Saviour, TODAY!
"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
PRAY this simple prayer, WITH ALL YOUR HEART:
Dear Jesus, I admit, I am a sinner, on my way to Hell. I'm sorry for sinning against You. I cease to rely on myself, my church, my religion, or anything that I might do to save me. By faith, I now receive you as my personal Saviour. I am fully trusting the blood that You shed on the cross as payment for ALL my sin. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye many KNOW that ye have eternal life..." (I John 5:13)
