Poor Me

STOP and THINK...

Did you ever consider that you are excelling in your blessings (today) because the judgment of God is falling upon a nation for their sins...?

It happened here...

While others were going INTO captivity "carried away...into Babylon..."

8 ¶ And the Chaldeans burned the king’s house, and the houses of the people, with fire, and brake down the walls of Jerusalem. 9 Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained. (Jeremiah thirty-nine)

...God saw fit, AT THE SAME TIME, to let the captain of the guard leave the poor of the land to prosper as slaves...

10 But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time. (Jeremiah thirty-nine)

God's grace was extended to the "poor of the people, WHICH HAD NOTHING" while others "AT THE SAME TIME" were being taken captive for their NATIONAL sins.
