The word "word..." ...or... ...is it "Word...?"

People that don't use the upper and lower case spelling for the first letter in the word "word" like the King James Bible does—saying that they are just "giving honor to the written word by making it a capital" are just making a mockery of what the Holy Spirit easily worked out for us in scripture, making for the reader an easy distinction between what God wrote and Who became flesh.

Jesus

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. Revelation 19:13

Spoken or Written word of God

...the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. Luke 3:2

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:4

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, Luke 5:1

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Luke 8:12 and 13

And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. Luke 8:21

For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. II Corinthians 2:17

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. II Corinthians 4:2

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. I Thessalonians 2:13

For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. I Timothy 4:5

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. I Timothy 5:17
