Hopefully, at least one time in your life, someone has called you "preacher."

I remember [forty-eight years ago] being stationed on the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Sweetgum on the twelve to four watch on one of the highest platforms on the boat I was protecting; pitch black outside, reeling back and forth in the ocean.

Well, one of the boatswain's mates who was steering the ship thought it would be funny called on the loud speaker very softly (to me) saying "Leib, this is the Lord. Leib, this is the Lord."

Having recently been saved, you'd think that I thought it might be from the Lord.  But I knew that it wasn't.  And, when four in the morning rolled around, the guys on the bridge enquired, "Hey Leib, did you hear anything while you were on the watch deck...?"  I replied, "Yeah, as a matter of fact, I did.... ...Someone said 'Hey Leib, this is the Lord.' It couldn't have been the Lord, I quickly interrupted myself."   They said, "Why not?"  Without hesitation I replied, "Because the Lord knows my FIRST NAME."

The Bible in the picture was left/given to me, when I wasn't home. The natural place to leave all unwanted religious materials is with the preacher.
