God’s anger proves His holiness. Anyone, who professes to love God, should love the things He loves, and hate the things He hates. We are to hate sin, unrighteousness, and every wicked way of man. We forget that anger is one of God’s many attributes. If we are to be like Him, we too are to get angry (I didn’t say, “get in the flesh,” I said, "get angry"). Maybe you never thought about it before, but that’s a New Testament command, written for every believer, by the Apostle Paul. He concluded that every Christian should, “Be…angry, and sin not…” (Ephesians 4:26) The question then comes in, “be angry at what?” We are to be angry at the exact same things that make Him angry. When we do, we are accounted by Him to be holy.
