A friend of mine suggested that I read the above article, so I decided to make a quick article of my own, out of it. First of all, the writer of this article said, in so many words, that we have nothing to fear “[This] line blur…cannot be unblurred, the line between organic intelligence and artificial intelligence.” A machine will never BECOME a man.
In their effort to replace God, that's what all the scientists against His knowledge (2 Corinthians 10:5), by becoming the epitome of their own god, have done (See Genesis 3:5). Instead of doing it God's way—today, "ye must be born again" (John 3:3), man, reaching inside his bag of tricks—a bag handed him, by the way, by Satan, himself (Genesis three), desires to, yea, is compelled to counterfeit life. In this case, counterfeit "intelligence."
Will machine man ever outsmart human man? That waits to be seen. Will machine man ever outsmart The Creator of all its parts? I really don't think so. If Satan and his horde of minions couldn’t do it (Jude 6, Revelation 20:2, 3, 10), I doubt that a bucket of nuts and bolts will succeed, either.
As Christians, we should wink at (Acts 17:30) man's achievements and look to the Scriptures for our source of direction and hope. Prophecy is on our side and in our future. Have no fear, and don't lose heart, Christian. For, man's temporary achievements will never stifle the truth and glory of God's holy will. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
