“Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?” Job 32:1-2
“Whether they repent or not or whether they want to be saved or not, God will consign all the unelected Lost to Hell.” Don’t we Bible-believing Baptist call that heresy? Don’t we refer to that as “Calvinism?”
For those that don’t know, Calvin taught that Ephesians 1:4 was directed to the individual person (being chosen), in Eternity, and not those who believed, in time, and were placed “in Christ.” (ibid)
This article has nothing to do with Calvinism.
I’m addressing all Born-again Bible-believing Baptist Preachers of the Gospel that won’t quit chiding against homosexuals, like they can never get saved, no matter what.
Personally, I’ve had my fill of it. You act like that is the only sin that a person cannot get saved from. If you think that way, dear brother, you are no better than a Calvinist. One brother, I know, actually dotted a sentence that condoned hanging homosexuals with a hearty “Hallelujah!” (I thought that word was reserved for praising God—Revelation 19:1, silly me.)
I’m sure that I’ve heard more sermons than you on Genesis Nineteen and Romans One. And, from what I see, nowhere in Scripture does God declare that the sin of Homosexuality is the only sin that He refuses to save someone from. Someone has made God, on this subject, out to be a Calvinistic Monster. “All thieves, liars, adulterers, murderers and the like can get saved, but all ‘queers’ are consigned to Hell.” I get it, “The Blood of Jesus Christ his son… can save anyone, but ‘a faggot.’” Is that the glorious Gospel that you are preaching? If it is, it’s nothing but pride, on your part—thinking that God can save you from your wicked sins, but is unable to save another from theirs. Shame on you! Shame on your Calvinistic thinking! Shame on your pride!
You should hate the sin of Homosexuality as much as you hate any and all sin. Preach against it. Teach people that it is a sin. And, show from the Scriptures the results of practicing it. No one should ever forget that we are the Bible believers. It’s our job to preach. Who else will show them their sin? But, in the same breath, if someone treated you about your sin, like you treat some them, when you meet them, you might have been hardened against the Gospel, just like they are, today. (I think that some of you get your “jollies” by beating up on these self professed sissies. That makes you a real man, bud!) We know that one day they will be judged for their wicked sin and consigned to Hell, for all Eternity, but what about you? Won’t you be judged, too? Yes, you will. You will be judged (at a different judgment) for how you HELPED that person miss the eternal punishment (that’s) looming over their soul, if they don’t get forgiven of their sins, like you did from yours.
Where, in your proclamation and dissemination of Truth, my Brother Preacher Friend, is your compassion for Sinners who need to hear a real message about love—the love of God?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
