Are YOU rescued...?
Most people associate the word rescue with animals, but men and women can be rescued, also. In the scriptures, God uses the word "redeemed" to designate someone headed for destruction who's been bought back to Him by the Lord Jesus Christ who died on Calvary's cross.
You showed love and compassion towards an animal, when you rescued it, God showed love and compassion towards you, when he sent his Son from Heaven to pay for your sins.
The Bible says...
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
It's terrible to learn of an animal that suffered and died, but worse — much, much, worse — is someone who dies in their sins and suffers their eternity in Hell.
Today you have a decision to make for your soul.
