Boaz Baptist Chronicles
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14
I was hoping to share my thoughts with you…
I'm no longer in the first two frames of life and somewhere between three and four. Is the fifth or sixth frame scary? It is, if you are lost in your sins.
I'm a saved born-again Christian, so there is no fear in physical death, since I have spiritual life—eternal in Heaven with my Saviour, Jesus.
Now, if you do not have eternal life, I understand why the last frame is scary. Our physical life is short, and we don't know if God will allow tomorrow. Remember, physical life is a gift from God. If you are not born again, then death will be shocking to you. Death does not end in the grave, you know. The soul of the lost continues after death in Hell, and Hell is a continuous frame of suffering for denying Christ.
When I die, don't mourn for me. ONLY my shell or body will be in the grave. The real me will be in Heaven, with Jesus. I welcome the next few frames! Do you? Are you saved? If not, will you consider what I’ve said and think about your future? If you will, click the picture above.
