Zero to Fifty in Three Seconds
"Zero to fifty, in fewer than three seconds" was the latest roller coaster speed details on a commercial that came across the air waves.
That speed is slow, when it is compared with the speed of the Earth, which is moving at a rate of sixty-seven thousand miles per hour (over one thousand miles per minute) and about one thousand miles per hour (eighteen miles per minute) on it’s own axis. If you consider that the average jet plane travels about five hundred miles per hour, this Earth is really moving—moving fast!
Even though our Earth doesn’t seem like it’s moving, due to the centrifugal force. It spins none-the-less.
How fast will the unsaved Lost be moving in Hell?
Scripture teaches that if a man dies in an unsaved condition, he will be burning and falling in “the bottomless pit” until the time of God’s White Throne Judgment. (Revelation chapter Twenty)
Before this Judgment happens, they will exist somewhere. Scripture teaches that the body will go to the grave, but the soul will live on in the lowest parts of the earth where, according to Jesus, “the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” (Isaiah 66:24, Mark 9:44-48) Hell was never supposed to be man’s abode. It was created for the Devil and his angels. Man will only be an outcast, rapidly spinning, under the earth, in a place of punishment.
Jesus said, “the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…” and cried out “…have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” He called it a “place of torment.” (Luke 16:19-31)
I assure you, my friend, no one is getting any pleasure from telling those who have rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour their awful fate for rejecting Him—the fate of the Damned. In fact, that’s why this site was created, in the first place. It was created to tell them just the opposite. Anyone, who repents of their sin and believes the Gospel, will be saved. The Saved will have a different outcome than the Lost. Theirs will be a blessed existence with God, in Heaven, for ever.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)
No one needs to go to Hell for Eternity. God made provision to save your lost soul, my Friend, when He sent Jesus down to this rapidly moving Earth, to die on an old rugged cross, to save you.
Here is God’s simple plan of Salvation…
The Bible says, you are a sinner...
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
"There is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10, 23)
There is an Eternal payment for your sin...
"For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23)
God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for your sins...
"....While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
Receive Christ as your Saviour, TODAY!
"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
PRAY this simple prayer, WITH ALL YOUR HEART:
Dear Jesus, I admit, I am a sinner on my way to Hell. I'm sorry for sinning against You. I cease to rely on myself, my church, my religion, or anything that I might do to save me. BY faith, I now receive you as my personal Saviour. I am fully trusting the blood You shed on the cross, as payment for ALL my sin. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.
